What is your OOC (Out of Character) age? 18
How long have you been roleplaying on FiveM and list some cities you come from? 2 and a half years and have experience on servers like d10 and mighetto rp
Why do you want to join our server, and what are you looking for in your roleplay experience? i like the look of the city and my friend reccomended it to me. I also want to do some serious gang rp as well as creating a name for myself and creating memories and experiences in the server.
What does roleplay mean to you in your own words? To me roleplay in FiveM is about playing a character and experiencing from that perspective while also making believeable storys and actions and decisions matter.
Define what power gaming is and give an example of how you would avoid it. Powergaming is when a player forces actions or outcomes in roleplay that are unrealistic or unfair to others , without giving them the chance to respond or interact with the situation , for example it could be using game mechanics in ways that it would break the immersion and experience for other players , like instantly overpowering someone in a fight or performing actions your character couldnt do.
What is metagaming, and how can it negatively affect roleplay? Metagaming in FiveM is when a player uses information their character wouldnt realistically know , which can be usually gained from outside of roleplay , for example discord calls , twitch streams or character names above heads to track or target someone. This will break the immersion and roleplay experience for others.
What is the difference between IC (In-Character) and OOC (Out-of-Character)? IC refers to anything your character says , does or experiences within the roleplay world as if their a real person. OOC is when you speak or act as yourself , outside of the roleplay world.
How would you handle a situation where you accidentally broke character in the middle of a scene? / carry on talking in character like nothing happened so i dont do it again.
What is NLR (New Life Rule), and how does it apply to gameplay in a roleplay server? means when your character dies in a rolreplay server , they forget the events and everything that led to their death and cannot remember the same situations.
What is the meaning of FailRP, and can you provide an example of a situation where it may occur? FailRP is when a player acts in a way that breaks realism or ignores the roleplay environment. An example would be such as getting into a serious car crash at high speed and then immediately driving away as if nothing happened , this will ruin the immersion and experience for other roleplayers.
How would you respond if a player is constantly breaking character or engaging in disruptive behavior? I would stay calm and handle the situation respectfully. First i would remind them politely to stay in character and follow the server rules , but if the behaviour continues i will report it to staff so the issue can be resolved without ruining or disrupting the experience for other roleplayers.
Describe a situation in which you would use /me, /do, or other RP commands (Provide a situation and example for both a /me and /do). When i roll up on an opp and he starts talking hella shit. /me person grabs the bat in the car and pops the door open and swings on the male. /do the baseball bat breaks in half
How do you approach character development? Are you willing to play a character that has flaws or weaknesses? At first my character is shit at fighting , but after a couple fights my character gets better. And yes i am able to play a character that has flaws or weaknesses.
What is your approach to creating realistic and immersive storylines for your character? I would create stories for example such as like stabbing a guy and getting into a police chase , but nothing too crazy.
What would you do if your character was in a tense or dangerous situation, and there was no clear way out? Show fear for life and just accept the situation.
How do you ensure your interactions with other players stay respectful and enjoyable for everyone involved? I will try to engage with other roleplay scenarios.
Have you read and understood the server rules? If not, what part would you like more clarification on? yes i have read all the server rules.
